Trondheimsgatan 26 is a piece and a flat in Husby. The flat has been lended by Svenska Bostäder and has been a meeting point for various activities between Dec 08-Mar 09. The flat is an exhibition, a piece or a social sculpture according to the definition of Joseph Beuys, i.e. “the unforeseeable results which emerge when people get together and talk and inspire each other”.
Trondheimsgatan 26 was a project  in collaboration with seventh-grade students from Husbyskolan:Khayala Aliyeva, Nabi Amanuel Haval Khalil, Vlada-Christina Korsun, Medea Tairova, Astera Ako, Mansour Osama, Rashid Arman, Nasir
Shalash, Mohammed Hans Wolff, Reine Magnusson/Visual Arts teacher Husbyskolan, Steven Cuzner/Artist, Virlani Hallberg/Artist, Jenny Palén/ Artist, Allan Stein/Filmmaker, Liv Strand/Artist

The focus for the piece and the participation has been the location, where the piece has been produced and the specific situation, which Husby finds itself in, including a high unemployment rate for young adults and ongoing renovations in the area. “Down on Earth” is a recently written play on solitude, friendship, power, powerlessness and belief. Above
all perhaps on class, social and cultural capital. Down on Earth was performed between 12-15 May in Husby. It has
been produced by Örebro Länsteater and directed by Rebecca Forsberg/Artistic director at Kista Theatre.
“Trondheimsgatan 26” is a part of Kista Theatre’s program, aiming at using art as a means of letting theatre reach out
into public space and time. On the occasion of the show, DSV – Department of Computer and Systems Sciences in Kista also
produced in collaboration with Kista Theatre an interactive website. This will be a forum for discussions before and
after the show. Thus, the web functions as an additional extension of the theatre’s program and as a teaching aid.
Johanna Gustafsson Fürst invited the artists Steven Cuzner, Virlani Hallberg, Jenny Palén and Liv Strand to produce a piece on location after having worked with seventh-grade grade students from Husbyskolan, drawing and painting on the walls based on parts of scripts which were read out.
